BPS Goes To School: Socialization of Politeknik Statistika STIS and Lamban Data.

📰 Pesawaran, November 12, 2024 - Today, from 09:00 to 11:00 WIB, BPS Pesawaran Regency successfully held a socialization event at SMA Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan, aimed at introducing the Politeknik Statistika STIS and the Lamban Data educational platform. This event, organized within the school, is part of BPS's initiative to expand statistical knowledge among students and the community.

The event was opened with a speech by the Head of the School, Mrs. Sylvia Juita, S.E., M.M., who expressed appreciation for the opportunity given to the students to learn more about Politeknik Statistika STIS. The next speech was delivered by Maya Narang Ali, Junior Expert Statistician from BPS Pesawaran Regency, who emphasized the importance of statistical literacy in today’s digital era.

The main session began with a presentation about Politeknik Statistika STIS by Mrs. Tri Rena Mayasari. In her presentation, Mrs. Tri Rena explained the opportunities and prospects students can achieve in the field of statistics through education at STIS. This was followed by a presentation from Mr. Guruh Dewa Prataba, who introduced the Lamban Data platform as a self-learning resource for students preparing for the STIS entrance exam. Lamban Data offers a wide range of practice questions and e-books that can be accessed for free, providing students with the flexibility to study at any time.

The event was effectively guided by Mr. Wahyu Ahmad Kautsar, while documentation support by Mr. Agus Prasetyo and Ganes Angga Witata helped capture key moments throughout the event.

This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on students and strengthen the role of BPS Pesawaran Regency in enhancing statistical understanding in the community.
