Government Agency Visit: Coordinating Crop Expansion Program (PAT) Implementation

BPS-Statistics Pesawaran Regency conducted a visit to Food Corp and Horticulture Agency of Pesawaran Regency to coordinate the implementation of the Crop Expansion Program (PAT), initiated by Indonesia's Ministry of Agriculture. This program aims to enhance food crop productivity across regions through expanded agricultural land, boosting food production and farmers' income.

The coordination focused on discussing PAT implementation, covering Land Optimization (Oplah), crop expansion through pompanisasi, and rice cultivation using the Tumpang Sisip (Tusip) method in plantation areas.

BPS-Statistics Pesawaran Regency plays a crucial role in gathering data on PAT realization in Pesawaran Regency. This coordination strengthens the productivity database, obtained through surveys, supporting data-driven decision-making.
