Building Villages with Data

BPS-Statistics Pesawaran Regency implements the Desa Cantik (Love Statistics Village) program as part of its efforts to promote data-driven villages and prepare them for the digital era.

This initiative emphasizes the importance of data in village development, prepares thematic data collection to support the flagship program of Karanganyar Village, and introduces village website management as a means of transparency and public service. The event was attended by the Head of BPS-Statistics Pesawaran Regency, Gunawan Catur Prasetyo, Senior Statistician of BPS-Statistics Pesawaran Regency, Head of Community and Village Empowerment Office (PMD) of Pesawaran Regency, Mr. Nur Asikin, and Head of Village Evaluation and Development Division of PMD Office, Herman Susilo. Additionally, the community, village officials, and statistical agents also participated in this activity.

A concrete step towards independent, informative, and competitive villages through the utilization of statistical data!
