Abstract

  • Number of labor force based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in February 2024 there were 5,044.04 thousand people, an increase of 40.90 thousand people compared to February 2023. Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) decreased by 0.56 percentage points.

  • The working population was 4,836.33 thousand people, an increase of 42.30 thousand people from February 2023. The jobs that absorb the most the workforce is Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries amounting to 46.19 percent.

  • A total of 1,329.91 thousand people (27.50 percent) worked in formal activities, increased by 2.39 percentage points compared to February 2023.

  • The percentage of underemployed rose by 3.06 percentage points, meanwhile part-time workers decreased by 2.90 percentage points compared to February 2023.

  • The Unemployment Rate (TPT) for February 2024 was 4.12 percent, down by 0.06 percentage points compared to February 2023.
