The 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) is the seventh agricultural census held by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) every 10 (ten) years since 1963. The implementation of ST2023 is mandated by Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and refers to a number of recommendations from FAO which stipulates "The World Programme for the Cencus of Agriculture (WCA) Covering for the 2016-2025 Period".The implementation of ST2023 is carried out in stages, namely the complete enumeration of agricultural businesses in the period 1 June-31 July 2023, followed by detailed data collection through the Agricultural Economic Survey and the Agricultural Production and Environment Survey in 2024.This 2023 Agricultural Census Complete Enumeration Results Booklet - Phase I is the result of the complete enumeration of agricultural businesses on June 1–July 31, 2023. This booklet is prepared to provide a detailed overview of Indonesia's agricultural business conditions in 2023 by subsector and some strategic information in the agricultural sector.More information can be found on https://sensus.bps.go.id/st2023 website.
