Briefing on 2025 Fisheries Statistics Data Collection

From February 4 to 6, 2025, BPS-Statistics Lampung Province conducted an online briefing via Zoom meeting on the 2025 Fisheries Statistics Data Collection, covering data collection on PP-TPI and Quarterly Reports of Fisheries Ports/Fish Auction Places (TPI). This activity aims to obtain fish production data from all fisheries ports and TPIs in Indonesia, including catch results by fish type, average number of boats/ships landing fish, and main fishing gear used in fisheries ports.

This data collection has significant benefits, including completing fish production data for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) and evaluating the effectiveness of TPIs in supporting the fisheries subsector. It is expected that this activity will provide accurate and useful data for planning better maritime and fisheries development policies.
