National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) February 2025 Data Collection, Pesawaran Regency

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Lampung Province decreased from 4.23% in 2023 to 4.19% in 2024. The TPT is an indicator that shows the percentage of unemployed individuals compared to the total labor force. Did you know that this data was obtained from the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas)? Currently, all districts/cities in Lampung Province, including Pesawaran Regency, are conducting the Sakernas February 2025 data collection, which takes place from February 8 to 28, 2025. This activity aims to collect labor force data at the provincial level.

Officers from BPS-Statistics Pesawaran Regency are conducting door-to-door data collection from selected households to gather accurate and reliable labor force information. The data collected through Sakernas plays a crucial role in providing information on the number of employed individuals, unemployment rates, and other labor force indicators. This information serves as the basis for formulating targeted labor force policies and as a reference for various parties to understand labor market trends.

The 2025 Sakernas data collection uses Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), which increases the efficiency and accuracy of data collection compared to conventional methods. Before going to the field, officers underwent intensive online and offline training to understand the concepts, methodologies, and application of the FASIH app.
