Abstract

The population working in February 2017 increased by 150.8 thousand people compared to the situation in August 2016 and as many as 227.3 thousand people compared to the situation a year ago.
Relatively Lampung's unemployment rate shows a decline from 4.62 percent in August 2016 to 4.43 percent in February 2017. When compared to February 2016 (4.54 percent), the unemployment rate fell 0.12 points. In absolute terms the number of job seekers (open unemployment) increased by 5.6 thousand people or increased 3.03 percent over the past year.
The workforce (work and unemployed) workforce shows an increase in the number of labor force by 149.5 thousand people compared to August 2016 and as many as 232.9 thousand people compared to February 2016.
