Knowledge Sharing: Understanding the System of National Accounts

(26/11) As part of employee competency development, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Pesawaran Regency held a Knowledge Sharing session on the System of National Accounts (SNA) at the BPS Pesawaran Hall. Attended by all employees, this event was a follow-up to the Conceive Program Sistem Neraca Nasional Batch V Year 2024 training previously attended by Aisyah Salsabila, S.Tr.Stat., a First Expert Statistician from BPS Pesawaran.

The System of National Accounts is a set of internationally agreed standards used to measure economic activities, applying strict accounting principles based on economic concepts. During the session, Aisyah explained the key benefits of the SNA, including its use for monitoring economic behavior, conducting macroeconomic analysis, and enabling international comparisons.

This event is expected to enhance employees' understanding of the SNA, its benefits, and its importance in managing economic data. With deeper knowledge, BPS Pesawaran Regency can actively contribute to the implementation of the SNA to support data-driven policymaking.
